Counsellor
Yeening is a mental health therapist who has worked with individuals and couples in navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety and stress, trauma and difficult childhood experiences, grief and loss, parenting and relationship difficulties, as well as domestic and family violence. Her work includes supporting clients in developing healthier coping strategies, greater self-compassion and self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns.
Taking an integrative and person-centred stance, Yeening draws from emotion-focused, attachment, mindfulness and body-based approaches, alongside Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to foster greater emotional awareness, resilience, autonomy, and empowerment, supporting them in creating meaningful and fulfilling lives and relationships. She also enjoys incorporating expressive and creative practices into sessions.
In her spare time, Yeening can be found connecting with the outdoors, curled up with a good book, crocheting or spending time with her family and friends.
