Lydia Lee

Background

Counsellor

You may be here simply to pause, or to make sense of what feels heavy — to untangle your thoughts, to be heard, or to sit in safe companionship. Lydia offers an invitation to slow down, breathe, and be present with what is here, without pressure to fix everything at once.

Lydia has several years of experience supporting adults, couples, and parents through emotional challenges and life transitions. Her work focuses on low mood, anxiety, self-identity, infidelity recovery, relationship and marriage difficulties, parenting stress, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and the grief that can come with relational loss and change.

Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Lydia works collaboratively with clients to help them feel more emotionally grounded, gain clarity in their relationships, and develop healthier ways to cope and communicate.

Lydia offers a space where clients do not have to perform or rush. She believes that small moments of awareness can lead to meaningful change, and supports clients in giving themselves permission to rest, feel, and begin again.
