Counseling Psychologist
Joyce is a psychologist who works with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, workplace challenges, and life transitions. She believes therapy should be a safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported in making meaningful changes in their lives.
With experience across educational, disability, and mental health settings, Joyce has supported individuals facing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and interpersonal difficulties. She recognises that each person’s experiences and challenges are unique and tailors her approach to meet their individual needs, strengths, and goals.
Joyce draws primarily from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), integrating evidence-based strategies with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. She works alongside clients to better understand their difficulties, develop practical coping skills, and build greater psychological flexibility.
She has a particular interest in supporting working adults who may be struggling with stress, burnout, self-criticism, or balancing the demands of work, relationships, and personal wellbeing. Her goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and clarity.
