Christine Chen

Counsellor

A mother of three with over 15 years of experience in finance and education, and several years devoted to full-time parenting, Christine brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work as a psychotherapist. Having lived in four different countries, she brings not only a sensitivity to cultural nuance but also a deep understanding of the transitions and adjustments involved in navigating change.

She specialises in anxiety, stress, and relationship counselling, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and tailoring each approach to the client’s unique story. At the heart of her work is a commitment to creating a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe, seen, and heard. Christine sees therapy as a shared journey—walking alongside her clients with empathy and curiosity as they explore patterns, process emotions, and build more meaningful lives.

Outside the therapy room, she enjoys reading and exploring cultures. Her role as a mother to two adult children and one teenager continues to shape her appreciation for human growth and connection.

Christine holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University and a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
