Zara is a seasoned and empathetic anxiety and relationship counsellor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through various emotional, psychological, and relational challenges. Holding a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counselling from James Cook University, she integrates academic expertise with hands-on therapeutic experience to deliver highly personalised and effective care.

She offers a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients can confidently explore their inner world and navigate life’s challenges. Zara adopts an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Schema Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Regression Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples. Additionally, she is trained in EMDR, Reiki, and Graphology, enriching her ability to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs.
A qualified Clinical Supervisor, Zara also provides professional supervision to practising counsellors across various organisations.

Her areas of focus include mental health and emotional well-being, parenting and family dynamics, relationship and couples therapy, adolescent support and career counselling, as well as alternative and holistic healing using homoeopathy and Bach Flower Remedies.

Zara’s professional journey spans over 10 years across international schools, therapy centres, and private practice. She has held diverse roles in counselling, learning support, educational assessment, and therapeutic intervention. Her extensive experience with children, adolescents, and families reflects a deep understanding of developmental psychology and educational frameworks.

She is a Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and a Master Practitioner & Supervisor with the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore (APACS).
