Joycelyn is a trauma-informed counsellor with over a decade of clinical experience. She works with individuals facing anxiety, unresolved trauma, attachment wounds, stress, burnout, grief, emotional overwhelm, and relationship concerns. She also supports those anticipating or grieving the loss of a pet, recognising the unique and personal nature of this pain. Her clients include emerging adults, as well as aspiring and seasoned professionals seeking inner peace and emotional resilience in high-pressure roles.
With 13 years in the corporate world, Joycelyn understands the demands of fast-paced environments and the importance of emotional well-being across personal, academic, and professional life.
She draws on evidence-based methods, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). Therapy is tailored to each client, whether the focus is managing triggers, rebuilding self-esteem, or fostering self-awareness and clarity.
Her experience spans education, social services, corporate wellness, and private practice. She also provides clinical supervision to fellow mental health professionals.
Outside of work, Joycelyn enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her two fur-kids. Yoga and gym routines help her stay grounded, a quiet reminder that small, consistent acts of care support emotional well-being.
Joycelyn offers a thoughtful and collaborative space where meaningful change can take shape and where clients feel supported on their journey with confidence, care, and compassion.
